Voluntary Action Okney is the council for voluntary service for Orkney. Its role is to support and develop the voluntary sector and represent the views of the voluntary sector. It provides advice and information to voluntary groups and a whole range of practical services, including training, to assist groups to become more effective. It helps to identify unmet need and to develp new services to meet local need. It works in partnership with local statutory agencies on planning for Orkney's future.
