At Microbeacon, people with a wide range of ages, abilities, disabilities and ethnic backgrounds work together in a relaxed, informal and friendly atmosphere to develop their full potential and work towards finding employment. This is achieved through acquiring computer skills relevant to both the job market and their own needs through a programme of achievable tasks. By working with their fellow trainees, they also make new friends, boost their self confidence, find new interests and improve their social skills.
