Caithness.org is now a very large web site after over five years of building. the main web site has thousands of pages and over 30,000 photographs of the area and its people from many walks of life. All voluntary groups and local charoiitie s can have free pages and the site is updated seven days a week covering many local events. the site has many parts to it including a busy what's On - items can be entered by anyone for local events. A huge message board with many thoursands of items and almost 2000 contributors. The message board also incorporates many parts of what would be regarded as classified ads - all free to users and hugely popular. Caithness .org is now part of Scorrie Internet Services and has business Index off shoots on other web sites. Caithness.org will pass three million visitor per annum in 2005 with a hit rate in mega numbers from thoose visitors. The web site is over 300 megabytes in size and still growing. Daily visitor rates have exceeded 17,0 00 on some days recently.
