Local Exchange Trading Systems (LETS) are local, non-profit networks for trading all kinds of goods and services without money. LETS members earn credits by doing, for example, childcare or computer work for other members of the network, and spend them on food, hiring equipment, or getting the house decorated. The credits they earn are interest-free and direct exchange is not necessary. Our aims and objectives are to develop and encourage the experience of community in Fife through the establishment of the local exchange trading system. LETS is an unincorporated members' club of people willing to trade amongst themselves. North Fife LETS is a not-for-profit organisation.
