In any society in today’s world there is poverty and in our wealthy City of Aberdeen poverty exists on our doorstep. The relative wealth of many people living in the area makes a stark contrast for those who are living on benefit or a low income who have difficulty affording the basic needs of daily living. Since 1984 the Instant Neighbour Charity has provided a unique service of practical help, advice, and emotional support, to some of the poorest and vulnerable people in Aberdeen.
