Business Organisation and Occupational Services Training (BOOST) – Lanarkshire
Profile
BOOST is a training course for unemployed people facing severe barriers (physical, emotional, economic, developmental) to their employability. Over 7 weeks (3.5 hours/day), its modules cover technical (word-processing, spreadsheets, e-mail/internet), jobsearch & interpersonal skills. It runs quarterly (from September 2002) with 10 participants in each intake. Successful participants get a certificate.
