Aberdeen Forward aims to improve the local environment by supporting and developing sustainable development projects in partnership with the community.
Funding is available through the landfill tax credit scheme for projects that meet the following aim:
To provide and improve community facilities to act as mechanisms for recreation, sporting achievement, lifelong learning and community involvement.
Our Priorities Are:
• Projects that innovatively seek to expand the use of existing facilities to address a community need e.g. a drop-in cafe, or a museum education room for use by the community
• Projects that improve the quality of, or create parks, play areas, green spaces, indoor and outdoor sports facilities, amenity green space and provision of facilities for teenagers and children in order to improve quality of life
