The Disabled Persons Housing Service (Borders) is a user led service set up in 2000 to meet the needs of disabled people living in or seeking to move to the Borders. We are a one stop shop for advice, information and support taking a holistic view of needs and using person centred planning. We work with the local agencies and registered social landlords to ensure that any building commissioned taked account of disabled people seeking housing. We also work with Ownership Options to explore buying housing for disabled people whilst on benefits.
