Strathpeffer Pavilion Association (SPA) is a community-based voluntary association which has worked with Scottish Historic Buildings Trust (who own the building) to restore the Victorian former Spa Pavilion in Strathpeffer.
The Pavilion has had a chequered existence - originally a meeting place for Victorians who visited Strathpeffer to take the waters, it was a US naval hospital during World War I and later became famous around the north of Scotland for weekend dances.
With a few paid staff and a lot of voluntary help from the community, SPA is now developing the Pavilion as a multi-purpose venue for the Arts, weddings and other functions, conferences and community events.
