The CRNS is a membership organisation set up to provide support and information for community led groups involved in recycling, reuse, composting, reduction and waste education activities. Acting as a one-stop-shop facility for information on funding, best practice, training, local and national markets, business planning, education and promotional tools, and local contacts, the network is now supported by over 120 organisations from across Scotland.
Our key activities include events to facilitate the exchange of best practice and the sharing of expertise within the sector, a quarterly newsletter, 'Towards Zero' which aims to showcase the sector and hopefully inspire new groups to get involved in community recycling, and the provision of development support to help community recycling organisations turn their ideas into reality.
