Toonspeak Young People’s Theatre (TYPT) are a registered charity who provide drama and theatre activities for 11-25’s living in the North of Glasgow. We aim to be participant-led, with young people taking an active role in decision making and day-to-day running of projects.
The aims of Toonspeak include:
Provide quality drama and theatre activities in the North of Glasgow
Challenge territorialism and discrimination by bringing together young people from different areas and backgrounds
Empower young people through the opportunity to manage their own project
Raise young people’s self-esteem through theatre and drama skills training
Let young people have fun and meet new mates in a safe and friendly environment
Provide quality entertainment to the audiences of the North of Glasgow.
