Current role includes working with Shetland’s 17 Community Councils and developing a Community Care Forum. The Volunteering Centre is well used for very diverse purposes e.g. a base for Crossroads, Association of Playgroups and Disability Scotland, a venue for art therapy and a Drop-in centre for clients of the Mental Health Project, plus several other groups.
