Leslie Huckfield has a background in external funding applications and in national and Euro-pean politics and offers specialist funding expertise for UK and International Projects.
Following involvement in the formation of Workers’ Cooperatives, he worked in Merseyside Objective One Pathways areas and on a range of regeneration projects in the West Midlands. He is now set to work with the Raploch Urban Regeneration Company in Stirling.
Recent projects include the Wolverhampton Jobs Project, promoted by the Government Of-fice of the West Midlands as an Exemplar Project. This was part of the ambitious Wolver-hampton Next Steps Programme, the intention of which was to provide training and work placements for 3,500 people – the City’s longer term unemployed.
He is especially interested in assembling packages of funding which involve European, Scot-tish and UK Programmes, including Charitable Trusts, loans and other funds.
