LOCAL SOCIAL ENTERPRISE NETWORKS
Argyll & Bute SEN was set up in 2004. The first meeting took place in Rothesay on Bute at Fyne Homes. ABSEN currently covers the largest area geographically of any of the Social Enterprise Networks which is an added complication but the group has not let this get in their way.
ABSEN have been invited to join the Local Social Economy Partneship (LSEP) by Communities Scotland who are very supportive of the Network. The AB LSEP have developed a protocol for supporting the wider Social Economy which will include support for social enterprises.
