Notes
There are two key activity areas:
Advice to communities and businesses. This encompasses community organisations of all types and with a range of issues from start-up to commercialisation. Business clients tend to be micro-businesses with particular issues related to small markets and rural/remote location.
Feasibility Studies and Business Planning. This overlaps with the above as many of the requests for assistance are to help demonstrate the financial lsoundness of a project.
Geographically Slainte Ltd works mainly in Argyll and Lochaber, and has built up an understanding of the particular issues that arise in rural areas and how these can be addressed.
