Experience of starting, developing, managing and winding-up community enterprises. Former employee of Strathclyde Community Business Limited and the Community Enterprise Support Unit. The company was incorporated in April 1997 and draws its membership from representatives of voluntary and community organisations that operate in Clackmannanshire.
The company's charitable objectives are as follows:
To relieve poverty among the residents of Clackmannanshire.
To advance education among the residents of Clackmannanshire, particularly among young people and the unemployed.
To promote and/or provide training in skills of all kinds, particularly such skills as will assist residents of Clackmannanshire obtain paid employment.
To relieve the needs of people suffering from mental or physical disability, illness or impairment or old age.
To restore, improve and maintain for the benefit of the general public the natural environment within Clackmannanshire, particularly the open spaces and countryside.
