The 32 founding members of the partnership signed The Banffshire Partnership Accord noting their intention to contribute to the economic, social and environmental well-being of local communities.

Our main purpose is to provide community-owned consultancy, development staff and some resources to help community groups plan, manage and sustain local projects. Specific services provided include: • specialist support for setting up community based enterprises • running a flexible rural transport service and information hub, linking rural residents to local services, work and training. • training on specific issues, particularly transport related and organisational capacity • Corporate identity, design and marketing service
