We believe that theatre has the potential to change the lives of the people who make it and the people who watch it. Our theatre-making is not a commercial exchange but the sharing and offering of social, political and cultural insights which can empower individuals to change themselves and the world around them. At Theatre Workshop we recognise that it is the barriers society creates that really disable people and that the removal of these barriers will enable and realise the creative energy of disabled people.
