Ruchill Furniture Project runs a workshop for the repair of donated but damaged furniture.
Keyfund money was awarded to run a 12 month pilot project offering an innovative pre-training 13 week programme in basic woodworking skills and personal work discipline to long-term unemployed people living in North Glasgow SIP area. The project will employ a full-time workshop supervisor to co-ordinate the programme of training.
We help to alleviate poverty by supplying low cost furniture household goods to persons/families on income support and/or low incomes.
We are an integral part of the transforming waste sector within the Greater Glasgow Area diverting waste from the main stream.
