CEiS is the largest development organisation working with the social economy in Scotland. We were founded in 1978 and work with around 70 organisations each year to create or sustain jobs and to develop services. Our mission is to become Scotland's first choice for providing business solutions to more-than-profit organisations that want to grow, change and develop.
CEiS provides specialist consultancy services to social economy organisations, particularly childcare organisations, credit unions and community-based housing associations. We instigate and develop new initiatives, and through our years of expertise and involvement take a policy influencing role in these sectors.
