yipworld.com is an Internet Café/Youth Initiative offering a diverse range of formal and informal activities for young people aged 10 - 25 years living in the Coalfield Area. The project has a state of the art cyber suite with twelve computers linked to the Internet, and a vast amount of recreational and educational software for young people to enjoy. The project also provides games consoles and a café with juke box within a large comfortable relaxed room with pool tables. Outdoor activities including snowboarding, mountain-biking and hill walking.
The project hosts a number of initiatives in partnership with professional organisations to address issues such as drug misuse, sexual health, community safety and active citizenship.
