The Camelon Boat Company is a local co-operative based at Port Downie, Camelon that provides luxury hire craft for use on the Forth & Clyde or Union canals. The growing fleet of craft is based on the Forth & Clyde canal and is within minutes of the fabulous Falkirk Wheel - the world's first and only rotating boatlift. Since the summer of 2002, a boat hire service has been available from Kilsyth in the west through to Linlithgow in the east.
