We collect most of the shop's fresh produce from over the border in Newcastle. After 3 years of using Edinburgh market we reluctantly decided to head the other way on the A1 to Newcastle. Edinburgh had been reduced to just 2 outlets; Newcastle, with about 12, provides much greater choice and quality, and stocks more British stuff than Edinburgh. It is amazing how much Scottish produce we find there. The Geordies can be a bit too full of bonny banter for 6AM but it is worth the trip.
