The Council of Voluntary Service Perth & Kinross aims to develop and strengthen the contribution voluntary organisations make to the economic, cultural and social life of our community.
As part of our role we offer Support Services including:
-training courses.
-publications.
-engagement with the national agenda.
-advice and information.
We also help the sector to develop by:
-assisting in the creation of new organisations and networks.
-strengthening the capacity of existing organisations.
-facilitating access to funding.
-building effective relationships between the sector and key public agencies.
In addition, we ensure that the sector is represented locally, regionally and nationally.
CVS Perth & Kinross is part of Perth and Kinross Association of Voluntary Service Ltd (PKAVS) which itself has social enterprise interests including the Walled Garden, Wisecraft and the CVS training arm.
