Thursday 4 May - Entrepreneurial Summit 2017 - Gleneagles

Entrepreneurial Scotland’s 21st annual summit will take place on Thursday 4 May at Gleneagles Hotel and is set to be an inspiring occasion. Focusing on the theme of ‘Scaling-up’ the event will explore the challenges, opportunities and practicalities of scaling up Scottish businesses.

Tuesday 9 May - What Volunteer Edinburgh offers you - Edinburgh

Are you a third sector organisation, charity, social enterprise, or part of the NHS or City of Edinburgh Council and interested in involving more volunteers? Find out what services are offered by Volunteer Edinburgh. Takes place from 3pm to 4.30pm.

Wednesday 10 May - South Ayrshire Social Enterprise Network (SASEN) Networking Event - Ayr

The next SASEN networking event will take place from 2.00pm – 4.00pm at The Book & Bun, Newmarket Street, Ayr, KA7 1LP. Firstport's Sally Johnston will be giving an update on the What if... Thursday 11 May - Donna Rutherford: Your Own Story - Visions & Versions of South Carrick - Girvan

The sharing of stories is a crucial act in life, we'd like you to place yourself in the picture and explore your specific relationship to the South Carrick area. This initial workshop shall bring together a small group of women to explore their own story through favourite settings, daily routines and familial histories, we’ll consider future memories via the past and present.

Friday 19 May - Cultural Connections - Campbeltown

Cultural Connections, part of Firstport's Vital Spark programme, are hosting an evening of local Campbeltown Culture in the Town Hall from 8pm on Friday 19 May. Tickets (£15) are available from George McMillan's shop.

Sunday 21 May - TEDx Portobello - Portobello

After the success of 2015 and 2016, TedX makes a return to Portobello hosted at the Tribe Porty Community hub.

Tuesday 23 May - Inspiring Women in Business - Edinburgh
