Bank of Scotland's Medium Grants Programme

Bank of Scotland's Medium Grants Programme is available to charities registered in Scotland to develop and improve local communities and financial literacy and financial inclusion. The maximum value of medium grants is £25k. The next deadline is 5 October.

Vodafone Techstarter

Vodafone Techstarter will back eight transformative social-tech startups, with a combination of funding and a bespoke programme of support. The deadline is 23 October.

Community Capacity and Resilience Fund

Round 4 of the Community Capacity & Resilience Fund (CCRF) is now accepting applications. In this round of the Community Capacity and Resilience fund they are looking to support a broad range of projects and activities that support local community based organisations across Scotland to help people mitigate the effects of welfare reform by providing them with the support and skills they need. Deadline 26 October.

Tampon Tax Community Fund

Foundation Scotland is currently managing the Tampon Tax Community Fund, supporting projects that promote women's development, self sufficiency and social and economic equality within three priority areas; building skills and confidence; improving health and wellbeing; and building social networks. Grants of between £5,000 and £10,000 are available for a duration of up to 12 months. Deadline 26 October.

digitalXtra Fund

Do you have an amazing project that will engage and inspire young people in computing science and digital technologies, but need some financial support? A new round of grant awards will be launched on 30 August 2018 with submissions due by 1 November 2018.

Digital Fund - Big Lottery

The Digital Fund is a new UK wide £15 million funding programme to support charities and community organisations. It is about helping the charity and voluntary sector to use digital tools and approaches to support people and communities to thrive. Applications initially open on 22nd October 2018 and close on 3rd December 2018. There will be further opportunities to apply in 2019.

ShareLab Scotland

The Scottish Government is partnering with Nesta to find and support early stage projects that build and/or use collaborative digital platforms to tackle challenges around sustainable energy and transport; focusing on the most vulnerable consumers. Applications are open until 28 February 2019.

Young Start - Big Lottery

Grants of between £10k and £100k are available for projects that create opportunities for children and young people aged eight to 24 to realise their own potential. Deadline 29 March 2019.

Social Enterprise Support Fund - Aberdeenshire

Councillors are supporting the sector with a £200,000 Social Enterprise Support Fund which will be open for applications until March 2019. The fund includes grants for new permanent employees, training, expert advice, and for feasibility studies into new income streams. There is also a grant for the establishment of new social enterprises, and for the establishment new income streams for existing social enterprises. Applications ongoing until March 2019.

Scottish Land Fund

The Scottish Land Fund supports rural and urban communities to become more resilient and sustainable through the ownership and management of land and land assets. Applications are ongoing.

National Lottery Awards for All Scotland

The new name for Awards for All Scotland, the National Lottery Awards for All Scotland offers funding from £300 to £10,000 to support what matters to people and communities. Applications are ongoing.

Shell LIVEWire Smarter Future Awards

£5,000 is given each month to new young social entrepreneurs looking to implement innovative business solutions that meet the energy and resource needs of a growing population. Applications are ongoing.
