Tayside and Fife Social Enterprise Conference - Wednesday 24 October - Dundee

The inaugural Tayside & Fife Social Enterprise Conference 2018 will be held in Dundee at the Apex Hotel, Dundee on 24th October 2018. The conference focus will be Inclusive Growth, welcoming influential keynote speakers such as Will Tyler-Greig, Head of Social Enterprise, social innovation and investment at the Scottish Government and Aiden Pia, Executive Director at Senscot, with more speakers to follow.

Social Impact in Scotland: what's the point? - Thursday 25 October - Edinburgh

As the third, community and social enterprise sectors in Scotland mature, there is an even greater need for groups to evidence, articulate and promote the impact of what they do. The ones who have the deepest impact often have the least capacity to do the evaluation. There is a plethora of methodologies and an underlying desire by policy makers and funders to tidy this scene up, ideally into a single system. This half day gathering will open up debate on whether front line organisations should use a specific methodology at all and crucially how these different methodologies might dovetail.
