The Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Of The Year is the world’s most prestigious business award for entrepreneurs. To enter
You must be currently and have been for at least two years the lead/senior executive director of a social enterprise (not a subsidiary or division) and therefore, primarily responsible for your enterprise's success. Social enterprises must have been engaged in the principal activity of delivering positive social change for at least two years as of 1 January 2010, with the majority of surpluses being reinvested in the enterprise's activities, rather than delivered in profit for the benefit of shareholders and owners. Examples of social enterprises may include companies limited by guarantee or shares, industrial and provident societies, registered charities, community enterprises or mutual organisations such as cooperatives. The enterprise's revenue is likely to be significant or have demonstrated above average year on year growth.
