Local people in Argyll and Bute invited to help inform exciting new programme

Firstport, in partnership with InspirAlba, is developing Vital Spark, an exciting new social enterprise initiative for Argyll and Bute. The Vital Spark programme will be working in Dunoon, Rothesay and Campbeltown to stimulate and support people from the local areas to turn their social enterprise ideas into reality.

Firstport is inviting people to come along to our pop up events next week. We want local people, families, businesses and communities to tell us what they love about their area, what could be better and what they'd like to see happen. Vital Spark will then use this information to ‘spark’ new social enterprise ideas across each area. The events are being held at: The Green Tree Cafe at the Moat Centre, Rothesay, Thursday 18 June from 11.30am-1pm; Amelia’s Cafe (‘the Polish cafe’), Campbeltown, Thursday 18 June from 5-6.30pm; The Lounge above Season’s Cafe, 9 Alexandria Parade, Friday 19 June from 11.30am-1pm.If you or anyone you know would like to attend any of the events, please contact gael@firstport.org.uk. Watch this space for further updates!
