About Firstport
Firstport supports new and emerging social entrepreneurs across Scotland. We provide free business support and advice and start up awards.
We work to identify, advise, connect, encourage and seed fund new start social entrepreneurs.
- Working with individuals to help them turn their ideas into active social enterprises, advice provided is a mixture of one to one support, group based master classes on a variety of themes around business planning and telephone and web information.
- Our web site contains wealth of information, contacts and business planning tools as well as updates on Firstport activity, upcoming events and announcements on our award winners and Scotland’s upcoming social entrepreneurs.
- The awards programme provides start up awards to social entrepreneurs from between £500 to £20,000 and brings together the Social Entrepreneurs Fund with the Scotland UnLtd awards.
