Gael Drummond – Group CEO
Gael is responsible for governance and strategy work across Firstport, FirstImpact, and Impact Investment Partnership Scotland.
Gael is the CEO of Firstport for Social Entrepreneurs.
Gael joined Firstport in 2014 and has held several roles within the organisation, leading on key work strands including operations, finance, people development, and resourcing. Prior to joining Firstport, Gael worked in the public sector at the City of Edinburgh Council and latterly as Legacy Manager at the Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games, with both roles focused on using the power of sport to create social change and positive impact.
Gael took up the role of CEO in September 2022. She represents the group in national and international forums and liaises with the Scottish Government on sector outcomes.
