Emily Macdonald (she/her) – Head of Group Investment Programmes
Emily leads the Investment Team at Firstport Group, overseeing repayable funding from Step Up and the Catalyst Fund as well as our investment readiness programmes.
Emily’s career in finance and risk management has included roles at Dresdner Kleinwort Bank, Investec and Gatehouse Bank. Emily has also gained valuable skills and experience as trustee for a development trust and volunteering for a community library local to her home in Fife.
As an experienced credit risk analyst, Emily is well placed to advise on the right investment for your project, what information to present to investors and how to present this in a compelling way. Emily is passionate about supporting entrepreneurs to build sustainable businesses and to deliver social and economic impact over the long-term.
