Firstport Staff and Board Diversity information 2022

Please find below our updated staff and board diversity data. This was collected in February 2022 to account for staffing and board changes.

In line with our ethos of continuous improvement, before sending the survey to our staff and board, we made some changes to the survey based on feedback from the one sent in 2020. This process highlighted that there is room for future changes to improve the inclusivity of our survey, to allow existing and new staff and board members to feel their identity is reflected in the answer options provided. Moving forward this will be a point of discussion within our Diversity and Inclusion working group.

When comparing the most up to date data with the data that was collected in September 2020, there are a few notable changes:

Despite having a high percentage of women in our staff team in 2020 (75%), this figure has continued to rise, with more women working for Firstport in 2022 (81.3%).
In 2022 we have a more ethnically diverse board but there is less ethnic diversity in our body of staff.
An interesting change that can be found throughout the recently collected data is the decrease in individuals selecting the option ‘prefer not to say’. This means we have a clearer understanding of the diversity of our staff and board in 2022.
